NADOM – Introduction to Animal Decontamination Operations

This introductory course provides responders and emergency managers with a foundational understanding of animal decontamination operations in hazardous, disaster, and contaminated environments. Participants will be introduced to: • The role of animals in disaster and CBRNE response • Core principles of animal decontamination • Operational risks and responder safety • How animal operations integrate into ICS and Unified Command • The NADOM national framework and certification ladder This course is designed as the official entry point into the NADOM training and certification system.
